Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand, stated that "no signs of life from the passengers of the helicopter (which crashed with Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi on board - OstroV) were found" as of 6:00 a.m. on May 20.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also later reported the "martyr's death" of all passengers.
"Upon discovering the crash site, rescuers reached the remains of the helicopter. No signs of life were found among the passengers", - Iranian media and the Telegram channel AZfront quoted the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society as saying.
"All passengers of the helicopter have suffered a martyr's death", - the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Telegram channel later reported, according to AZfront.
The helicopter's passengers included Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Governor of East Azerbaijan Province Malek Rahmati, and Ayatollah Ali Hashim of Tabriz Province.
