Two residents of the Donetsk oblast were killed and two were wounded as a result of russian shelling over the course of May 12th. This was reported on May 13th on Telegram by the region's police.

"During the day, the police recorded 2,661 strikes on the territory of the region. The enemy attacked 10 settlements: the cities of Kurakhove, Lyman, the villages of Velyka Novosilka, Dalne, Dibrova, Zarichne, Ivanivka, Yekaterynivka, Kurakhivka, and Romanivka. 29 civilian objects were damaged - 25 residential houses, an educational institution, gas pipelines. As a result of enemy shelling, a person died in the village of Dibrova. Another civilian was killed by russian troops in Ivanivka of the Pokrovsk district. Lyman was shelled by occupiers from the Smerch MLRS - two civilians were injured. 4 houses were damaged", - the message says.

"Russia dropped three guided aerial bombs KAB-500 on Katerynivka. 14 private houses were damaged. In addition, during the night of May 13th, russian forces launched missile strikes on the Donetsk oblast targeting Pokrovsk, Novohrodivka, and Selydove. Preliminary reports suggest no casualties", - the police stated.

The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration on Telegram reports that another 257 people have been evacuated from the front line, including 30 children.
