The Verkhovna Rada voted for the lifting of immunity from MP Aleksander Onishchenko and gave its consent for his detention and arrest, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.
275 MPs voted for the removal of parliamentary immunity and 265 voted for consent to detain him and 263 to arrest him.
Today in the morning, head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office Nazar Kholodnitsky said that Alexander Onischenko was not in Ukraine then. The MP didn’t come to today’s parliament meeting.
MP Alexander Onishchenko is suspected for illegal theft of state property in large sizes.
