At least one person died in a fire on the russian multi-functional ice-class supply vessel, the "Katerina Velikaya", on April 7th. This was reported by the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office on April 8th via Telegram.
"The Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office is overseeing the progress of the procedural check into the ship fire. Today, around 3 a.m., a fire broke out on the multi-functional supply vessel 'Katerina Velikaya' at the Dalzavod Ship Repair Center in the Primorsky Krai. The fire has been extinguished. According to preliminary information, three people are in the hospital, and one person died", - the message said.
The circumstances of the fire are being determined.
It is noted that the vessel was undergoing technical maintenance. It belongs to structures controlled by Rosneft.
