Authorities of the terrorist "DPR" is verbally ready to carry out the exchange of prisoners proposed by Kiev and return of eight detained militants. It was stated today by so-called "Ombudsman in the DPR" Daria Morozova.
However, she clarified that such an exchange is unlikelyto take place in practice because it is not specified in the Minsk Agreements.
"We are ready to make an exchange. However, there is an order specified in the Set of Measures for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, I have recently stated that we are against small exchanges and insist on the speedy implementation of the 6th paragraph (on the exchange "all for all")," – said comrade Morozova.
As previously reported, Ukraine is ready to exchange 8 captured militants near Mariupol for Ukrainian captives held by terrorists. "We are ready to give eight recently detained representatives of illegal armed formations to the SDDR for the liberation of the captives. We handed over this position to SDDR and I’ll raise this issue once more during a meeting of humanitarian groups in Minsk on July 4th," - wrote MP of Ukraine Irina Gerashchenko on he Facebook page.
