The kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov directly stated in a conversation with journalists from the russian newspaper "Arguments and Facts" that russia and Ukraine are in a state of war.

According to Peskov, "Russia cannot tolerate the existence of a state on its borders that has documented intentions to use any methods to take Crimea away from it, not to mention the territories of new regions".

Russia will continue to act in such a way "that the military potential of Ukraine cannot threaten the security of its citizens and its territory", - stated the spokesperson of the russian dictator.

"We are in a state of war. Yes, it started as a special military operation, but as soon as this coalition formed when the collective West became involved on the side of Ukraine, for us, it became a war. I am convinced of that. And everyone should understand this for their internal mobilization", - Peskov said.

As reported, hundreds of thousands of homes were left without electricity as a result of the massive russian attack on Ukrainian cities on March 22nd.
