The "DNR" has acknowledged that in the currently occupied Avdiivka, taken by the russian armed forces, there are only about a thousand civilians left. This statement was made by the head of the occupational administration of the Yasynuvata district, Dmitry Shevchenko.
"People are still in Avdiivka. According to our information, there are still about 1,000 people there", - he noted.
Before 2014, Avdiivka had a population of around 35,000 residents.
