On February 3, russian occupiers shelled populated areas in the Donetsk oblast 12 times, resulting in the evacuation of 56 people, including 22 children, from the frontline, according to Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, who reported the incidents on Telegram.

"In the Pokrovsky district, one person was injured in Maksymylianivka within the Marinka community. Isolated shelling was recorded in Avdiivka and the surrounding areas of the Ocheretyne community. In the Kurakhove community, two residential buildings in Ostre and the administrative building in Kurakhove were damaged. An enterprise in Pokrovsk was also affected.

In the Bakhmut district, the Chasiv Yar community witnessed damage to four houses and an industrial building. In the Toretsk community, the areas of Siverne, in the Soledar community Razdolivka, Nykyforivka, and the vicinity of Vasyukivka were shelled. In the Siversk community, a house in Serebrianka was damaged", - the OMA head reported.
