In 2023, as part of the mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, 2,940 children were relocated to safe places. The Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories reported this information.

"Throughout 2023, a total of 2,940 children were successfully evacuated to safe places. This became possible due to the coordination by the Coordination Headquarters of nine decisions of the regional military administrations on the mandatory evacuation of children with their parents or guardians from a specific locality to areas where hostilities continue", - the statement said.

It is also noted that from November 2022 to December 2023, 62,000 evacuated individuals received one-time financial assistance totaling almost UAH 145 million.

As reported, on January 30, 97 people were evacuated from the front line in the Donetsk oblast, including 15 children.
