In frontline Avdiivka, the Donetsk oblast, there are still 1,152 residents, and in the Marinka community, there are 3,260, according to the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration (OMA). Vadym Filashkin, the head of the OMA, announced this on January 11 in an interview on the Espreso TV channel.
"The evacuation is ongoing continuously. We keep all the issues under constant control. Thanks to the police and the White Angels unit, the evacuation does not stop, and the police continue it every day, risking their lives", - noted the head of the OMA.
At the end of December, the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, Vitaliy Barabash, stated that there has been a recent decrease in the number of people willing to evacuate from the city.
