In the Northern operational zone, new mobile firepower groups on water have been established to guard against airborne enemy targets. This was reported by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev, on December 29.
He noted that navy sailors from a separate river division had been honing their skills throughout the year.
"I personally observed several times and was involved in improving their efficiency. As a result of these actions, new mobile firepower groups have been formed, protecting the Ukrainian sky in the Northern operational zone not only on land but also on water. We move forward!", - writes Naiev.
