Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that a drone attempted to attack the city on the morning of December 19. He shared this information on Telegram.

"The attack of a drone was repelled by the air defense forces in the Odintsovo city district. According to preliminary data, there are no destruction or casualties at the site of the debris", - he wrote.

At the same time, russian media reported that the "Carpet" plan has been implemented at the moscow airports of Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky —all aircraft are being directed to Sheremetyevo.

The russian Ministry of Defense also claimed to have destroyed two drones that allegedly attempted to attack russian facilities and were eliminated over the territories of the moscow and Kaluga oblasts.

Soon after Vnukovo and Domodedovo, the Kaluga airport also suspended the arrival and departure of aircraft.
