Interpol refused to search Russian Arseniy Pavlov (Motorola) who, as pointed out by witnesses, could kill a prisoner and Donetsk airport defender Igor Branovitskiy. It was stated by Deputy Chief of Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine Vitaliy Mayakov, - reports Ukrainska Pravda with reference to the Information Centre on Human Rights.

"Interpol has returned us the documents with the motivation of the political nature of Motorola’s case. It is unclear for us. He shot in front of witnesses Branovitskiy, we suspect him and there is court's decision on his arrest," - said the representative of the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to him, Interpol denies Ukraine in many such cases, calling them political.

"I hope that in cooperation with the international community, this position will be changed," - said Mayakov.

The report recalled that in 2015 Ukraine appealed to Interpol with a request to search Russian militants Motorola wanted. Arseny Pavlov came to toccupied Donbass and led the Sparta Battalion illegal armed formation. Earlier he said that he "shot 15 prisoners", soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Amnesty International called on to investigate the murders which Motorola recognized.
