President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will not yield to russia in this war for freedom and expressed hope for continued support from its partners. He made this statement during his speech at the National Defense University of the United States.
"The whole world is watching us and gauging how much other free nations want to live freely. Ukraine has not surrendered, and Ukraine will not surrender! We know what to do, and you can count on Ukraine, and we hope that we can also count on you", - the President emphasized.
Zelensky also noted that if there is a chance to defend the freedom of one state, then it is necessary to avoid fighting on other territories.
"The destruction spread by dictatorial regimes is too great, and it must be stopped from the very beginning", - he pointed out.
As reported earlier, the United States will assist Ukraine in building forces capable of deterring russia.
