Russian forces attempted a missile strike on Kyiv during the night of December 11. However, the air defense forces successfully intercepted all targets. Despite this, debris from the intercepted missiles damaged private homes and injured four people. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
"This morning, the enemy tried to launch a missile strike on Kyiv, following a scenario similar to exactly one month ago on November 11 when a ballistic missile was fired toward the capital. Today, on December 11, approximately at 4:00, the russians delivered another missile strike, presumably of a ballistic nature. The air defense forces successfully hit all enemy targets", - wrote the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
Preliminary data indicates that debris fell in the Darnytskyi district as a result of the air defense operation. Four residents of Bortnychi suffered injuries.
Specifically, a man born in 1992 sustained shrapnel wounds. He received initial medical assistance at the scene. Three women born in 1963, 1990, and 1992 exhibited acute stress reactions, and assistance was also provided on-site.
Subsequently, the Kyiv City Military Administration demonstrated the aftermath of the nighttime missile attack. Rescue teams, explosive ordnance disposal experts, and investigative-operational groups are currently working at the scene.
As reported, 18 strike drones and 8 missiles were destroyed in the skies of Ukraine overnight.
