The russian Ministry of Transport has reported the completion of the arrangement of "checkpoints at the administrative borders" with the so-called "LNR" and "DNR". This information is reported by russian media.
The reports do not specify why the authorities are setting up "checkpoints" in territories they have declared as part of the russian federation. However, it is emphasized that now the "delivery times for goods for thousands of people will make the journey home more convenient, safer, and faster".
Russian authorities do not hide that currently, there are 15 "checkpoints at the administrative borders with the new subjects of the russian federation" in operation.
