During his visit to Kyiv, Ukraine voiced the need for 17 million shells to the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin. This information was reported by Ukrainska Pravda with reference to its own sources.
"Austin (the head of the Pentagon, - ed) was informed about the need for 17 million shells. He, to put it mildly, was surprised because it is impossible to gather so many shells anywhere in the world", - one of the defense officials told UP off the record.
In addition, according to the publication, calculations from the General Staff show that to accomplish the president's task of liberating the entire territory of Ukraine, forces and resources amounting to 350-400 billion dollars are required.
As reported earlier, according to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk, there are no disagreements within the political and military leadership of Ukraine regarding how to conduct the war and reclaim the territories temporarily occupied by russia.
