Ukrainian delegation at talks in Minsk insists on the right of forced migrants to vote remotely in possible local elections on the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass. It was stated by member of the sub-group on political negotiations in Minsk Olga Ayvazovskaya, - reports Tsenzor.NET.

"Of course, the first question is security, that is, removal and/or disarming of troops of Russian mercenaries," - she said adding that representatives of SDDLR (separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions temporarily beyond the control of the legitimate authorities of Ukraine - Ed.) oppose such a decision.

However, according to her, Kiev insists on such a decision, as well as a proportional system of elections with the participation of Ukrainian political parties, excluding the lowest level of power.

"Village heads and so on will be elected, of course, on the basis of majority system," - said Ayvazovskaya.

But, according to her, representatives of the separatists didn’t meet Ukraine’s proposals halfway during the talks in Minsk on June 1st.
