Russia is considering the possibility of mobilizing an additional 450,000 people. This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with Krym. Realii, published on August 25th.
"They are currently considering the option, it's not a fully resolved matter yet, to mobilize an additional 450,000", - Budanov said.
He emphasized that mobilization in russia has not stopped. For instance, last autumn, they called up around 350,000 russians. However, covert mobilization continues all the time, with monthly calls for 20,000 to 22,000 individuals.
