The russian army carried out a missile strike on a civilian house in the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast today, August 11th, resulting in the death of a child and injuries to others. This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, in Telegram.
"This morning, the enemy launched a missile strike on the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. A civilian object was hit", - the official said.
"There are casualties, including a child who was in critical condition and taken to the hospital. The medical staff did everything possible, but unfortunately, they couldn't save the child's life. Our condolences to the family! Once again, I urge everyone not to ignore air raid signals. No matter where you live, take care of your safety and the safety of your loved ones!", - Onyshchuk appealed.
Details of the tragedy were provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. Occupiers struck a residential building in Kolomyia District. At around 10:00 a.m., the occupiers launched aeroballistic missiles at the region. A rocket hit a private house where a family with three children lived. As a result of the shelling, an 8-year-old boy was killed. Information about other casualties is being clarified. The explosion and debris partially damaged outbuildings", - the statement said. It also noted that all the necessary services are working at the scene.
