Former head of the Debaltseve occupation administration, Igor Zakharevich, has entered the list of top 300 best managers in the construction industry in russia. He told that to separatist media.
In December 2022, the leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin relieved the so-called "mayor" of his position in response to numerous complaints from the residents of Debaltseve. Zakharevich's work was deemed unsatisfactory, particularly in terms of housing reconstruction.
After being dismissed, Zakharevich decided to participate in the all-russian competition for managers called "Leaders of the Construction Industry". According to him, more than 12,000 people from 70 regions of russia submitted applications. Only 300 individuals advanced to the semi-finals after the selection stage, including Zakharevich.
He stated that he is working on a project "for the benefit of the republic", but did not disclose any further details.
