The russian occupiers are preparing another provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant: yesterday, they brought several Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to the territory of the captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Energoatom of Ukraine reports this in Telegram.

It is noted that the invaders placed the weapon near power unit No.6, directly next to the territory of the station dry storage of spent nuclear fuel, where some "protective structures" were previously built in a secret mode, violating all the conditions for organizing nuclear and radiation safety.

The most likely upcoming provocation is shelling of the opposite bank of the Dnipro, in particular, the cities of Nikopol and Marganets, with these Grad systems directly from the ZNPP site, using the "cover" of the power units and the storage of spent nuclear fuel, - the message says.

"The whole world understands flagrant violations of all the norms and requirements of nuclear and radiation safety of the operation of a nuclear power plant, which the invaders use for military purposes. From the very beginning of the aggression, they have placed personnel, military equipment, weapons and explosives there; they have replaced the territory of the station and the access roads to it", - Energoatom of Ukraine notes.

"We appeal to the IAEA and the entire global nuclear community, informing about the additional deployment of the Grad MLRS directly at the ZNPP site. And once again, we call for the creation of a security zone inside and around the plant with its complete demilitarization and de-occupation", - the message emphasizes.
