"Today, on November 18, hourly shutdown schedules are applied throughout Ukraine throughout the day. Additional emergency shutdowns may be introduced", - the message said.
Ukrenergo notes that due to a cold snap, electricity consumption is increasing daily in those regions of Ukraine where electricity supply has already been restored after massive missile strikes on energy infrastructure on November 15.
"This complicates an already difficult situation in the energy system. Energy companies are forced to apply restrictions", - the company informs.
As previously reported, more than 10 million Ukrainians were deprived of electricity as of the evening of November 17 due to russian shelling.
