The court has sentenced a russian agent who collected information about the locations and movement of Ukrainian troops to 9 years in prison. This was reported by the SBU press service on September 1.

It is noted that intelligence officers detained a criminal in the Donetsk oblast at the end of May. During the investigation, it was possible to establish that the man was reconnoitering the positions of the command posts and logistic units of the Ukrainian troops, carrying out covert surveillance of the objects.

As a result, the russians used the information they received, among other things, to launch missile attacks on the Kramatorsk airfield.

Investigators also managed to establish the identity of his russian "curator". It turned out to be staff member of the 9th department of the 5th service of the FSB of the russian federation Alexey Shyngiriev.

The attacker used one of the messengers to contact the curator from the FSB. The collected information was placed in closed groups and private chats specially created by representatives of the FSB of the russian federation.

Let us recall that earlier, it was reported that the SBU neutralized the network of fire spotters in Sloviansk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk.
