The first ship carrying Ukrainian grain that left the Odesa port on August 1 has reached the Turkish coast. This is reported by AFP, as well as the Marine Traffic website.

The Sierra Leone-flagged Razoni is due to be inspected Wednesday near Istanbul by a team that includes russian and Ukrainian officials before delivering its cargo of 26 thousand tons of maize to Tripoli, Lebanon.

The ship is scheduled to undergo an inspection on Wednesday morning by a joint control team, according to Turkish officials.

As previously reported, Ukraine sent the first ship along the agreed "grain corridor" on August 1.

The ship with corn went to Lebanon from the port of Odesa.
