The AFU are ready to go on a counteroffensive in the south of Ukraine, but long-range artillery is needed. This was stated by commander the South Operational Command Major General Andriy Kovalchuk, - the command reports on Facebook.

"The enemy ammunition delivery vehicles (artillery range) significantly exceed ours. Even under these conditions, we are pressing them out", - he informed.

He noted that we need long-range artillery, which will exceed 30 km.

"We are ready: both mentally and physically. We are not sitting around waiting, we will move forward. But with such weapons, everything will be much more efficient and faster", - Andriy Kovalchuk stressed.

As previously reported, the russian federation may launch false flag attacks in the area of Kherson in order to prevent the support of the population of Ukrainian counter-offensive operations.
