The Lithuanian deputy suggested that putin submit to the authority of the 17th-century king Władysław IV and return all the occupied territories to Lithuania. This is how Matas Maldeikis reacted to the draft law on "abolishing the independence of Lithuania" submitted to the State Duma, - DW reports.

"If Russia withdraws its recognition of the independence of Lithuania in 1991, then Lithuania will withdraw the Polyanovsky Treaty of 1634 and demand that putin submit to the authority of Władysław IV and return all the occupied territories to the Grand Duchy. Smolensk is Lithuania!", - the parliamentarian wrote on his Twitter.

As reported, the State Duma of the russian federation, "as the successor to the USSR", decided to cancel the independence of Lithuania.

On this occasion, the Office of the President of Ukraine stated that the intention of the State Duma of the russian federation to cancel the resolution on the independence of Lithuania is another proof of the incorrigibility of the russian government.
