The so-called "General Prosecutor’s Office of the DPR" confirmed the information about the detention of the first deputy head of the occupation "administration" in Donetsk. It was reported on the "DPR" website.

"On March 1st the DPR enforcement authorities arrested one of the deputy heads of Donetsk administration with the mainour of bribing. The detention was carried out by the forces of the General Prosecutor's Office of the DPR staff in collaboration with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR", - says the report.

As reported by OstroV, Igor Ponomarenko was detained. He is charged with taking a bribe accompanied with extortion. In addition, preventive measure in the form of detention was applied in relation to him.

It noted that investigations are conducted in relation to Ponomarenko that is aimed at the establishment of other facts of illegal activityof the Deputy Head of Donetsk administration.
