The Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine carries out pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings regarding the commission of actions aimed at seizing state power. This was reported by the SBU press center.
It is noted that the proceedings were open under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – on the fact of preparation by individual citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation of actions with the aim of seizing state power.
The progress of the investigation will be reported later, - the SBU noted.
As reported, on November 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the information that a coup d'etat was being prepared, in which Akhmetov is being drawn.
