Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valeriy Zaluzhny has reported about 2.1 thousand regular servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are in the occupied Donbas on a permanent basis. He announced this on Facebook on November 12.
"The aggressor state maintains a powerful alignment of forces in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts: the total number of the 1st and the 2nd Armed Corps of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation is 35.5 thousand people. About 2.1 thousand regular military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russwian Federation are constantly fighting against Ukraine in CADLO. Professional Russian generals and officers occupy key command positions", - he noted.
According to Zaluzhny, the Russian occupation troops continue to violate the ceasefire: 2 thousand 287 attacks on the Ukrainian positions have been recorded since the beginning of the year, of which 610 were with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. The enemy violated the ceasefire 78 times over the current month, of which 26 - with the use of artillery systems with a caliber of more than 100 mm. "The enemy has augmented the forward units with armor teams and is actively using UAVs and snipers… The security situation is complex, but fully controlled by the United Forces", - he wrote.
