The State Customs Service has carried out testing of customs officials for qualifications and reliability. This is said in the message of the Ministry of Finance.

In total, 9 441 thousand or 97% of customs officers took part in the pilot project.

Half of them have successfully confirmed their qualifications and reliability. The other half will be sent to advanced training courses, their official activities will be monitored. At the same time, only about 100 people failed the exam out of almost 10 thousand tested customs officers.

"More than a hundred officials have not been tested successfully. Appropriate personnel decisions will be made in relation to them, including termination of contracts and dismissal from customs authorities", - the Ministry of Finance said in a message.

"Customs officers passed three levels of testing: knowledge of customs and anti-corruption laws, general abilities (in particular, abstract, numerical and verbal thinking), as well as integrity, which is a psychological test designed to identify officials with risks of tendency to violate the established rules and unproductive behavior in the workplace", - the ministry specified.
