Co-chairman of the A Just Russia political party Zakhar Prilepin has brought about 200 "DNR" militants to the Nizhny Novgorod oblast to "supervise" the election to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The Russian participant in the occupation of Donbas stated this during a press conference.

"In order to help the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod oblast hold fair election, I asked my comrades, including those from the Donbas, Donetsk, militiamen, to work as monitors. About 200 people came, guys with military experience, guys who can defend their interests, the interests of Russia", - he described the contingent of "monitors" he had brought from the occupied part of Ukraine.

However, according to him, this decision caused "the most difficult feelings in the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod oblast". Allegedly, the local authorities hired football fans to fight Prilepin's associates.

He explained that the "militiamen" who fought in the Donbas had come with peaceful purposes, and local "tough guys" were being put up against them.

"Do you want a massacre?", - he rhetorically addressed the regional authorities.
