7915 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
7915 people fell ill over the past day, including 336 children and 202 health workers. 1650 people were hospitalized, 432 – died.
17 391 people recovered on April 26.
72 239 tests were carried over the past day, of which 35 761 – by PCR, 15 133 – by EIA and 21 345 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 038 248 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 596 829 patients recovered and 42 950 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (869), the Poltava (651), Donetsk (588), Odessa (580) and Zaporizhzhia (552) oblasts.
