The leader of "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko stated again he was not going to fulfill the Minsk agreements and conduct elections according to Ukrainian laws. He said this today, - reports the separatist "DPR" website.

"We insisted and continue to insist that the elections in the republic should be held according to international standards of the OSCE. They satisfy us, Europe and the international community in general, absolutely fit the concept of democratic elections. It is impossible to hold elections according to Ukrainian legislation here and I'm totally against it," - said A. Zakharchenko.

As reported, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine by granting a status of the "districts with a special order of the local government" to temporarily occupied territories of Donbass. As for the local elections, according to the Minsk agreements, they must be carried out according to the Ukrainian legislation. All the documents in Minsk were also signed by the puppet head of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko. Such concepts as the "DPR" and "LPR" as well as titles "the heads of republics were not mentioned in the Minsk documents.
