234 584 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 6. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"4348 people fell ill over the past day, including 199 children and 226 health workers. 720 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 90 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 2149 patients recovered.
"In total, 234 584 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 15 040 children and 16 613 health workers. 103 401 people recovered and 4 520 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
44 977 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 25 126 - by PCR and 19 851 - by EIA.
