181 237 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of September 22. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"2884 people fell ill over the past day, including 206 children and 120 health workers. 504 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 59 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 1717 patients recovered.
"In total, 181 237 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 11 870 children and 14 025 health workers. 79 901 people recovered and 3 642 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
42 478 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 20 781 - by PCR and 21 697 - by EIA.
