Twenty people and two cars have crossed the Novotroitske checkpoint from the uncontrolled territory of Donetsk oblast as of 12:45 on Monday. Press officer of the State Border Guard Service in the Joint Forces Operation Ihor Lyzohub said this in a comment to OstroV.
"As of 12:45, 19 cars and 210 people were allowed into the temporarily occupied territory, two cars and 20 people arrived from the occupied territory at that time", - Ihor Lyzohub told.
He noted that since the beginning of operation of the Novotroitske checkpoint in a limited mode, passage from the occupied territory has been slow. At the same time, everyone managed to pass the checkpoint and did not stay overnight in the tent of the rescuers over the past few days.
"Nobody sleeps in the tent of the State Emergency Service. No one stayed overnight on Friday and other days, the issue of resettlement of people was resolved by the regional state administration. They are delivered to places of temporary residence", - the press officer of the State Border Guard Service added.
The State Border Guard Service recalled that checkpoint operations at the Novotroitske checkpoint are carried out daily from 7:00 to 18:00, but due to the fault of the occupiers, it actually opens only on Monday and Friday.
Road corridors at the Marinka checkpoint are still blocked by militants of the illegal armed formations. Also, the pass through the Mayorske and Hnutove checkpoints is currently not carried out.
