3 144 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"We have another anti-record today… 3144 people fell ill over the past day, of which 206 children and 142 health workers. 508 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 53 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 1128 patients recovered.
"In total, 148 756 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 9 620 children and 12 605 health workers. 67 005 people recovered and 3076 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
50 898 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 27 945 - by PCR and 22 953 - by EIA.
