Situation in the area of rebuff and deterrence against the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts on August 25 remained completely controlled by the Ukrainian soldiers, - the JFO headquarters reported. One fact of the ceasefire violation by the armed formations of the Russian Federation has been recorded since the beginning of the day. There are no combat losses as a result of the enemy shot. The ceasefire was fully maintained in all areas of responsibility of the Ukrainian units. Our soldiers continue to carry out the assigned tasks and are ready to adequately respond to possible dangerous actions of the enemy, - the headquarters stressed.
Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin allowed turning off housing and utility services because of the debts. This was said in his next "decree". His previous "decree" on the introduction of quarantine restrictions in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic said that under the conditions of a "high alert mode" (in fact, quarantine - OstroV), the residents would not be disconnected from housing services for the late payment. The "DNR" leader canceled the compulsory collection of debts at that time. The new "decree" eases quarantine measures, therefore "the right to terminate the provision of housing and utility services and communication services in the presence of arrears for their payment is renewed, as well as the right to enforce collection of such debts in the case and in the manner prescribed by law". In addition, Pushilin lifted the ban on "conducting inspections of business entities", which was also in force earlier.
Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin canceled distance learning and ordered to ensure the classroom-based educational process from September 1. This was said in his "decree". Thus, the "DNR" leader has eased the quarantine measures he had previously introduced, according to which, all educational institutions operating in the occupied territory have been transferred to distance learning since March 2020 in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The "DNR" occupiers recognized 42 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection over the past day. This was said the report of the so-called "Ministry of Health". According to the occupiers, in total, 2364 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast as of August 25, there are 130 deaths. According to these data, the death rate from coronavirus in the occupied part of Donetsk oblast is 5.5%, which is 2.6 times more than in the free territory of Ukraine.
The Luhanskvoda enterprise, controlled by the "LNR" militants, suspended water supply to the occupied Rovenky and part of the Dovzhansky district "due to several leaks" on the main water pipeline, separatist media wrote. Residents of the city of Rovenky, as well as of the settlements of Nahirne, Pavlivka, Medvezhanka and Volodarsk, were left without water supply.
