The "DNR" occupiers have recognized 59 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and two deaths over the past 24 hours. This is stated in the report of the so-called "Ministry of Health".

At the same time, the occupiers announced 41 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday.

Today, the occupiers state that there are two of those who arrived from the territory controlled by Ukraine among the newly detected cases. Also, coronavirus was detected in one person who arrived from the Russian Federation.

Other cases of coronavirus infection were allegedly detected in persons who had contact with the diseased earlier.

Occupiers of the "DNR" recognized 2 deaths - men aged 71 and 61 years.

In total, according to the occupiers, 2 247 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast as of August 21, there are 124 deaths.
