A woman has sustained shrapnel wound as a result of shelling of the outskirts of frontline Avdiivka by the militants on June 15, - the press center of the Joint Forces reports.
"Last night, armed formations of the Russian Federation fired on residential areas on the outskirts of the city of Avdiivka in the direction of the village of Yakovlivka, as a result of which a civilian was injured", - the report says.
The local resident received a mine-blast trauma and a blunt fragmentation wound to the lumbar region in the courtyard of her own household at about 21:00.
The citizen was taken to the intensive care unit of the Avdiivka central city hospital, where she was provided with medical care. The health status of the woman is satisfactory.
Damage to the elements of the adjacent territory, in particular to the slate fencing of the household, was also found. The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination on ceasefire and stabilization of the demarcation line established that the distance and direction from which the shelling was fired clearly indicate the involvement of the Russian occupation forces in this crime.
The headquarters indicated that the occupiers openly demonstrated disregard for the Minsk agreements once again and once again reaffirmed their cynical and indifferent attitude to the life and health of civilians in the Donbass.
