President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has established February 26 as day of resistance of the Crimea to Russian occupation. He reported this today at the Age of Crimea Forum 2020, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"Today I sign a decree on the day of resistance to the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. This day will be celebrated every year on February 26", - he stated.

"The return of Crimea to Ukraine is not just my goal as a president or position as a citizen of Ukraine, it is not only our common dream, it is a guarantee of security on the planet, it is the restoration of faith in international law and justice… This day will definitely come", - the president added.
