On December 28, the Kyiv Court of Appeal has changed the measure of restraint to ex-members of Berkut, accused of executions of activists on the Instytutska Street in 2014. Detention and house arrest have been replaced with a personal recognizance, - Censor.NET reports.
The court canceled the detention of three ex-members of Berkut - Oleh Yanyshevskyi, Serhiy Zinchenko and Pavlo Abroskin. The court also canceled the house arrest of two ex-members of Berkut, accused in this case - Serhiy Tamtur and Oleksandr Marinchenko. They were all released under personal recognizance.
The panel of judges passed the decision: presiding Marharyta Vasilyeva, as well as Victor Habriel and Anatoliy Orel.
As reported, former soldiers of the Berkut special police force, accused of executions on the Maidan, are on the lists for an exchange to be held on December 29 at the Mayorsk checkpoint.
