Volunteer veterans removed the legal weapons belonging to them from Zolote-4. This was announced by Deputy Head of the National Police Vadym Troyan, - the press service of the MIA reports.

According to him, now there is only a group of volunteers without weapons in the area of preparation for the withdrawal of troops in the area of the Joint Forces Operation, in particular, in Zolote-4 and Katerynivka.

"There are six patrols of the National Police in Zolote-4 and Katerynivka, as well as the National Police of Ukraine's reception center for citizens. According to the decision of the JFO leadership, the National Guard will be sent there to ensure public order and security. Citizens can feel safe", - Vadym Troyan noted.

He added that the police and the guard will carry out their tasks as intended, in particular, to conduct anti-sabotage work against the illegal armed formations in the zone of troops withdrawal.

It was earlier reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky talked with volunteer veterans on October 26, during a trip to the Luhansk oblast, and urged them to remove existing weapons from the settlement.
