Occupation authorities of the "DNR" have recognized the catastrophic situation at their checkpoints on the contact line. This was stated, in particular, by "speaker of the people's council of the republic" Vladimir Bidevka.
According to him, the "deputies" decided to support the initiative of the "DNR" leader Denis Pushilin, aimed at normalizing the situation, and personally come to some of the most problematic checkpoints.
"The issue of the checkpoints is quite acute in the "Donetsk People's Republic" today, in connection with what deputies of the "people's council" decided to assist in the implementation of the initiative of the "DNR" leader Denis Pushilin to stabilize the crossing of checkpoints by citizens", - Bidevka said.
"In the coming days, the work of deputies of the people's council will be organized at the Oleksandrivka, Olenivka, Horlivka and Oktiabr checkpoints, the purpose of which is to monitor the current situation, as well as to receive appeals from citizens crossing the checkpoints " - he promised.
Bidevka is confident that the presence of "deputies" of the self-appointed "parliament" will act as an effective tool for stabilizing the situation at checkpoints".
Users of social networks confirm that "what is happening today at the checkpoints of our "republic" cannot be called otherwise than a mess".
"The worst thing is that old people are suffering and even dying, having failed to withstand the hours-long and humiliating passing through the line of demarcation", - even supporters of the "DNR" admit.
"The reason for hours-long and many kilometers long queues at the checkpoints is banal, someone decided that it is possible to make on this by artificially creating plugs and jams, it is a Klondike for the organizer and all those involved", - the eyewitnesses wrote.
