The Verkhovna Rada has called the leadership of the GPOU, SBU and MIA to report on the case of murder of activist Kateryna Handziuk, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"In connection with the tragic death of Kateryna Handziuk and need for a thorough investigation of this crime, it is proposed to invite the heads of law enforcement agencies to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today and hear information on the state of investigation of attacks on public activists", - speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy said.
222 deputies voted for the relevant decision.
As previously reported, public activist and adviser to the mayor of Kherson Kateryna Handziuk, who had been doused with acid, died in the hospital on November 4.
