During the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group on the resolution of the situation in Donbass, present representatives of the "DPR" put forward their own terms of reform of the Constitution of Ukraine, which were rejected. The representative of Ukraine in political subgroup of the Trilateral group Roman Bessmertnyi told the Interfax-Ukraine agency about it.

"The Ukrainian side rejected these proposals," – said R.Bessmertnyi to the agency on Wednesday evening.

He confirmed that representatives of the "DPR" wanted to fix "DPR" quota in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the constitutional level, have the right to agree all adopted laws and the right to veto decisions in the field of foreign policy.

In addition, the "DRP" wants full amnesty of all involved in the conflict, including "the release ofall captured military of the "DPR" and operatives of the subversive groups arrested in Odessa, Kharkov, Kiev and other cities."

The "DPR" also wants "Donbass region" to gain extended economic (the right to trade with Russia), political (the right to elect its own parliament, government and president) and cultural (protection of the Russian language) autonomy.

The presented "DPR" initiatives to reform the Constitution of Ukraine also include the demand of the right to form its own state police, security services, judiciary, prosecutors, border guards and other institutions "without the consent of the Kiev authorities".
