Since Friday midnight, Russian militants have violated the Easter ceasefire twice - in spite of the recommendation of the Minsk talks group. Oleh Sushynsky, the speaker of the ATO HQ reported that in his commentary for 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have twice violated the ceasefire, which came into force at midnight today. In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired small arms at our positions near the town of Avdiivka and the village of Opytne. No firefights were observed in Luhansk sector. The Ukrainian military suffered no casualties", - the spokesman said.

The OSCE noted the importance of observing the ceasefire orders, as well as taking measures in case of violation of the agreements. The organization stressed the importance of abstaining from offensive operations and intelligence activities, the non-use of weapons, including retaliation.

Previously, The Trilateral Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Donbass has agreed on a complete ceasefire on the line of demarcation in the conflict zone for the time of Easter holidays starting on March 30.
