The introduction of criminal responsibility for visiting Russia by Ukrainian officials is initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine, the SBU press center reports.
"The lawyers of the Security Council of Ukraine have prepared a draft law on restricting visits to the Russian Federation by politicians, officials, representatives of local governments and public figures. The draft law, in particular, criminalizes officials for visiting Russia with the aim of harming Ukraine's national interests", - the statement said.
Given the importance of the bill for Ukrainian society, the Security Service of Ukraine issues a bill for public discussion.
