A group of parliamentary members proposes to revoke the immunity of deputies.

Corresponding bill No. 6773 "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (regarding the abolition of parliamentary immunity)" was registered in the parliament on Wednesday, the website of the Verkhovna Rada said.

The authors of the bill are 158 Rada members. The text of the project has not been made public yet.

In early July, President Petro Poroshenko announced that he had prepared a draft amendment to the Constitution on the abolition of deputy immunity. "Deputy immunity is an anachronism: my draft of changes to the Constitution is ready and requires political will from the deputies", - he wrote in Facebook.
